In this case, the customer had recently taken possession of their property and had a range of works planned including

landscaping and an extension to the house. Knowing where all the underground services were and having a record of them assisted both during the planning and construction stages of their project.

 

They found the CAD plan useful as they were able to pass it on to various parties involved with the projects.

Architects and engineers used it to determine if existing services were in the way and needed relocating. They also knew the location of services should anything need connecting into, such as stormwater for new guttering.

 

The CAD plan was valuable to contractors attending the site during work, so they knew where existing services lay, minimising damage and delays.
